Every other line is a punchline in this hilarious comedy by Neil Simon. Two young men publish a protest magazine from their apartment - Andy Hobart is the sensible businessman; his roommate Norman is the intellectual writer who falls madly in love with Sophie, the new girl next door. Andy does everything in his power to get Norman's mind back on the magazine as their monthly deadline fast approaches. But Norman's advances quickly wear on Sophie's nerves who is training to be an Olympic swimmer and is engaged to marry a Marine. Everything turns to chaos when Sophie discovers she has fallen for Andy despite the fact that she hates his protest magazine and his loony roommate.
