Cara Scharf Biography

Music Man marks Cara’s third collaboration with the WCRC.  Last season she appeared at Kelsey as a not-so-graceful Lady-in-Waiting in Once Upon A Mattress, and as the show-stopping, rootin’, tootin’ cowcricket, Ellie Mae, in Goin’ Buggy (a favorite role, for sure). Although she’s just entered her Junior year at George School in Newtown (where she’s majoring in Drama), Cara has compiled an impressive resume.  She’s been seen at the Open Air Theatre as a singing tree diva in The Wizard of Oz, and in this summer’s The King & I.  Her other Kelsey credits include Peter Pan and Godspell.
