In the sequel to August Wilson's acclaimed Gem of the Ocean, we return to the Pittsburgh Hill District in 1997. Harmond Wilks is a successful real estate developer and mayoral candidate with a plan to revitalize the neighborhood. But when Aunt Ester's house at 1839 Wylie Avenue is slated for demolition, a stranger claiming ownership appears, forcing Wilks to confront his relationship with his heritage.
