A new musical adaptation of the classic fairy tale. Our "Cinderella..." features nine new songs and several added plot twists guaranteed to keep even those who have seen the story many times before on the edge of their seats. It was written for young audiences, ages three and up, but the lyrics and dialogue were designed to be entertaining to older kids and adults as well.
All the characters from the original story are here. Naturally, there's Cinderella, the romantic young girl who longs to get away from the drudgery of a maid's life. Also, there's Ulga, Cinderella's evil, greedy step-mother and Gretchen, her mischievous pie-eating step-sister. Prince Jonathan is the lucky young man who is searching the kingdom for true love, and his father, the King, who is getting impatient that his son is still single. And what "Cinderella" would be complete without the magical, mystical Fairy Godmother to save the day with her spells!
Cinderella's musical score features nine new songs, including the bluesy, soulful "Man Inside the Prince", the powerful ballad "Someplace I Should Be", the majestic "A Tale Where Dreams Come True", and the quirky "She'll Never Meet A Fella".
