is the author of nine published plays which together have received nearly 150 different productions throughout the U.S. and Canada. His play Frank's Life was published last year by Dramatic Publishing Company and Gendermat will be published this year by Samuel French, Inc. The Deer And The Antelope Play will be part of Charlotte Rep's 1999-2000 season. Mark also has a new full length version of his play Belial that will be showcased in the spring by an independent producer. He is the recipient of several national playwriting awards, and was most recently awarded the 1997 Nesburn Prize as part of the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild/Julie Harris Playwriting Award competition for Armistice Day. Mark is collaborating with Composer-in-Residence Merek Royce Press on a new play with music entitled Octet, which will be premiered by NJ Rep in the year 2000 season.
