Dan Rivard most recently appeared in Mystic Vision Players' production of "Pippin". Last year he appeared as Og, the Leprechaun, in their production of "Finian's Rainbow". His first appearance in community theatre was in MVP's "Fiddler on the Roof", in which he portrayed Mendel the Rabbi's son, a bottle dancer, and a Russian dancer. This was followed by "West Side Story". He has also worked in various production capacities for some MVP shows in which he did not appear onstage.<P>
Prior to his introduction to community theatre, Dan spent 10 years as a member of the Big Apple Chorus, Manhattan's chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A.), where he was a section leader and dance captain.
Earlier appearances on the theatrical stage include "Oklahoma!", "West Side Story", and "Sweeney Todd", all while a student at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Dan is a native of Lowell, Massachusetts, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Business. He is a reissue/compilation producer at Sony Music.
