born and bred in Ohio with her seven siblings, landed her first professional job after moving East on board the SS Scandinavian Sea. Since that time she has done summer stock, regional theatre, dinner theatre, industrials, cabarets, staged readings, murder mysteries and the like, taking her all over the country and the world. Her favorite roles include Liza in LADY IN THE DARK, Cora in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE, Patty Andrews in APPLE BLOSSOM TIME, Milton the Monkey in WORDS, WORDS, WORDS, and Woman 2 in PARALLEL LIVES: THE KATHY AND MO SHOW. Melissa has studied acting at several New York studios, recently joined SAG and is ready for her close‑up, Mr. Spielberg! She was thrilled to christen Dreamcatcher's new stage with Jason Alexander at the Gala Benefit Celebration in October, and to appear in the Fall production of THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND. Melissa resides in Summit with actor/husband Jeff Stone and would like to add: "Carmen, this one's for you, sweetheart!"
