Esther H. Cohen Biography

Esther has performed extensively throughout New Jersey and New York, in CT, summer stock and regional theatre. She made her professional debut at the Hangar Theatre as a member of their 1993 Lab Company, under the tutelage of Frank Deal and Robert Moss. Favorite roles include Srs. Amnesia and Robert Anne in Nunsense, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Sally Bowles in Cabaret, a hellacious furball in Sincerity Forever, the Witch in Into the Woods, The Leading Player in Pippin, Mark Twain in Battle of the Dead Celebsand Cecile Volanges in Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Behind the scenes, Esther occasions into directing, costume design and construction, and makeup design and artistry. She enjoys mountain biking and Tae Kwon Do, in which she has attained a first degree black belt.
