the author of the New York smash Shmulnik’s Waltz, as well as Sholom Alelchem Lives, St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, Late Nite Comic, and Second Avenue Rag. A graduate of the Yale School of Drama, he won a Richard Rodgers Musical Theater Award for the book of Little Women (1998), as well as a Cine Eagle Award from the Washington Film Festival. His plays have been produced at Jewish Repertory Theatre, ART, Manhattan Punchline, Theatreworks/USA, and Theatre Four in Richmond, Virginia, among many others.
