has appeared on Broadway in A Chorus Line as Don and Zach, in addition to European, Asian and National tours and has logged over 4,600 performances. Other Broadway shows include Woman of the Year with Lauren Bacall, Hello Dolly! with Carol Channing and Copperfield. Off Broadway he has played Frederich in Tom Stoppard’s adaptation of Schnitzler’s Undiscovered Country and Leichester in Mary Stuart. Regional theatre roles include Richard in The Lady’s Not for Burning, Frederick in A Little Night Music, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Sky in Guys and Dolls, Kenickie in Grease, Michael in I Do, I Do, and Dr. Pretorius in Have I Got A Girl For You - The Frankenstein Musical. On television, Mr. Danek has played Kahless on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and guest starred on “Sisters”, “Wings”, “Models Inc.”, “Woman of the House”, “Days of Our Lives”, “Another World”, “Ryan’s Hope” and “All My Children.” On radio, an appearance in “Trotsky in New York” for NPR. His directing work has earned him a Best Director award from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. As a writer, his play "Victim of an Assasination” has been produced at the Group Theatre in Seattle, the Foundation Theatre in New Jersey, and workshopped at the NY Shakespeare Festival. He has created dance/theatre pieces for the Thingsezisee’m Dance Theatre Company, the American Dance Festival, the Mariana Bellotto Dance Company and the International Dance Festival. He has studied acting with Uta Hagen, Shakespeare with Herbert Berghoff and holds a B.A. in Theatre.
