“Out of Sight - Out of Murder” at Westfield Community Players

Peter Knight is grinding out a murder story in an old mansion where another author was murdered years before. An electrical storm creates a cosmic snafu and Peter's characters come to life. They are the lovely ingenue, the trusty butler, the dauntless hero, a pregnant serving girl, a mysterious "Other woman" and a lawyer about to read the will at midnight. At first, Peter controls the story, but gradually a murder is plotted with him as the intended victim. Can Peter find the killer before the killer finds Peter? Is romance with the ingenue going anywhere? Is there really a fortune in the will the lawyer must read? All is solved ingeniously with romance, suspense and cosmic wit.
