Looking for 6 actors (2 female, 4 male) for one-act play festival.

Featuring three original works and three Shel Silverstein one-acts.
Auditions are June 25th, 7 - 9.
Bring a comedic or dramatic monologue.
Also bring any conflicts during the rehearsal process.

Rehearsals being June 26th and end July 25th, every Monday through Thursday 6 - 9pm.
Shows are July 27th at 730 and July 28th at 1 and 8pm.

Auditions, Rehearsals, and Shows will be held at

Valerie tries to relax by reading a magazine in the bathtub as Leonard irritatingly sits on the toilet seat playing Russian roulette. He tells her the bullet he put in the gun might be a blank. She tells him she switched his bullet with another that may be real. She insists that he finish his game.

Garbage Bags
In this monologue, Sarah sits between monstrous stacks of garbage bags, grocery bags and cardboard boxes. As she recites her poem of refusing to take out the garbage, the bags move closer and closer, until she disappears

The Lifeboat is Sinking
Jen and Sherwin sit safely on their bed, but Jen forces her husband to imagine they are on a sinking boat in the middle of a terrible storm. Waves fill the boat with water; there are no life jackets; and Sherwin must decide whether he should throw his mother overboard or condemn them all to die.

Remembering Daniel by Gil Moreno
Kate and Oliver are married they recently lost their 8 year old son in a tragic accident. As they try to mend, Oliver is struck with vascular dementia. He beginning to forget all sorts of things, even his son. As he battles to not forget, his wife Kate medicates and tries to forget. Can they come to terms with each others wishes or will it tear them apart?

Marshmallow by James Monohan
An ex-couple reconnects at a wedding (and eat some marshmallows).


Trash, Foie Gras, and the Baumgart by Gil Moreno
Arthur is an intellectual no-nonsense gentleman who is being pursued by a young woman that insists on landing a date with him. When he doesn't return her calls, she goes to drastic measures.
