(Linden, NJ, February 2009) � NJACT (New Jersey Achievement in Community Theater) welcomed three new board members at their February meeting as part of the organization�s anticipated 2009 reorganization. Pete Labriola of Pierrot Productions in Pennington was appointed to the position of VP of Corporate Sponsorship and Fundraising, Jane Coult of Maurer Productions OnStage in Ewing, was named to the position of Recording Secretary and Marie Fiorello of The Villagers Theater in Franklin Township was named to the position of North Jersey Liaison. They join previously appointed Dan Maurer of Maurer Productions Onstage as Marketing Director and NJACT veterans Amy Levine as President and Patrick Starega as Vice President of NJACT respectively. Gina Lupi of South Jersey will continue on the board as the South Jersey Liaison and coordinating media relations and Rita Greco will assume the position of Treasurer in addition to continuing her duties overseeing reviewer compliance.
NJACT is a volunteer-based organization with the mission to celebrate outstanding achievements in community theater throughout the state of New Jersey. NJACT members review theater productions around the state and once a year the organization hosts the NJACT Perry Awards Ceremony.
