The Pennington Players are one of the oldest and largest community theatre organizations in the central New Jersey area with fifty years of history and over 200 members. Being a true community group, its membership is made up of people from many different walks of life who share a common interest - the theatre. This year we will be celebrating our 50th Anniversary!
We have long been well known for our stage productions. Our shows have been presented in a number of locations in this area over the years. The Pennington Players were the first group to perform at the Washington Crossing State Park Open Air Theater (with The Devil's Discipline in 1964) and have staged a summer show there ever since. We schedule both musical and non-musical productions and are often the first area theatre company to present relatively new and/or technically challenging works.
