“Script-in-Hand New Play Series” at New Jersey Repertory Company

“Script-in-Hand New Play Series”

The primary purpose is to give the playwright an opportunity to hear his or her play, discuss it with an audience and then further develop it as needed. Many of our main stage plays will be chosen from these readings.

Performance lengths will vary, but plan to stay at least two hours. After the reading there will be a brief discussion. As a courtesy to the playwright, we ask that you stay for the entire reading and discussion. Seating is extremely limited.

The schedule is as follows:
Monday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. "Onto Infinity" by David Alex
Monday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. "Belial" by Mark Dunn
Monday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. "Sight to See" by James Armstrong
Monday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. "The Jocker" by Clint Jeffries (please be advised that this play contains strong sexual references and may not be suitable for everyone)
