“Emil” at New Jersey Repertory Company

“Emil”
by Benjamin Bettenbender

Poor Emil. He has a head-strong daughter who is in a relationship with a loud-mouthed bully, but what’s a father to do? Rather than sit idly by, Emil is determined to take control of the situation. And so, when a shy young suitor drops by unannounced, determined to win his daughter’s affections, Emil takes him under his wing and sets out to prove that “father really does know best.”
