This is Ray's farewell theatrical appearance. He feels privileged that it should occur in what is arguably the best American play ever. His roles in the theater have encompassed a wide range. They include a Hungarian, three Englishmen, a ghost, a New England Fisherman, a Transylvanian, a gangster, a drug addict, and even two Jews from Brooklyn. He has directed Other People's Money, The Actor's Nightmare, Play it Again, Sam and Eastern Standard. Most recently, he produced, co‑directed, and designed the sets and sound for Marvin's Room.
