A WCP member for about 18 years, Maurice has directed many shows here, among them: Dancing at Lughnasa, The Foreigner Driving Miss Daisy, and The Fantasticks. At CDC, where he is a former President, he acted in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Baby, and he's appeared in all the CDC/WCP joint fundraiser shows. Maurice has served as WCP's Production VP and most recently was lighting designer for Godspell at CDC. Maurice received his Masters in Theatre Arts from NYU and is a high school teacher of English, Theatre, and Video. He enjoys travel and has visited 40 of the 50 states. He is proud to have been called "Summerfun's finest director" by Peter Filichia of the Star‑Ledger for his work with Montclair's Summerfun Theater‑12 NJ premieres including The Sisters Rosensweig, Proposals, and Death and the Maiden.
