Linda Ames Key Biography

is the Artistic Director of Six Figures Theatre Company. Directing Credits for Six Figures include CLOWNING THE BARD, CLOWNING THE BIBLE at NYC Fringe Festivals '98 and '99 RITA FAYE PRUITTE, FLYER, THE ADDING MACHINE, LONE STAR GRACE, FRINGE HIGH, among others. In addition, EMBRACING FREEDOM for the Ellis Island Foundom, KATHY & MO & WHATEVER WILL BE for Dreamcatcher, ALISON'S HOUSE and OF SLEEP AND SHADOW at the Mint Theatre Company, VANITI ES at the Emelin, and most recently, AS WE LIKE IT at the Edinburgh Fringe. She was a member of Lincoln Center Directors Lab in 1999 and teaches for the Knowledge Project, School for Film & Television, and Greenwich Academy, and is the American Liaison to Melbourne Theatre Company and State Theatre of South Australia She is a graduate of Northwestern University, Actors Theatre of Louisville's Apprentice Program, and Ringling Brothers Clown College.
