is a Chicago‑born lyricist/composer who wrote words and music for Off‑Broadway's Inside Out, an American Musical Theatre Award finalist and Robby Award winner. She wrote music for Luster, produced at The Orpheum in Los Angeles, and was commissioned to write lyrics and music for Jack Heifner's Vanities. Adryan's work has also been presented at the Village Theatre Company in Now York; Sarasota's Florida Studio Theatre; The Colony Theatre and Group Repertory Theatre in Los Angeles; The Phoenix Theatre in Arizona; The Laguna Playhouse in Laguna Beach, California. Both New York and Los Angeles cabaret artists have performed her songs. She is currently writing music and lyrics for a new Doug Haverty book, Stay Tuned; and writing lyrics in collaboration with composer Randy Hale and bookwriter Phoef Sutton (writer/producer of "Cheers") based on a Nathaniel Hawthorne story. She has written music and lyrics for film, animated features and popular songs and, as a Eugene O'Neill Cabaret Fellow, sometimes performs her own material. A returned Peace Corps Volunteer, she was commissioned by UNICEF to write an International Children's Day song. A member of ASCAP, The Dramatists Guild, and the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences ‑ Adryan was a member of an eight woman therapy group for two years. She thanks 12 Miles West for bringing that group ‑ which gave her hope and made her laugh ‑ to life again.
