Rydell Harrison Biography

Gypsy marks Rydell’s second performance with MVP having played “Reuben” in last year’s Joseph…. Recently, he was Ensemble Director for The Music Man, The Wiz, and Our Town at Frankin HS where he is, also, Choral Director. In addition to teaching, Rydell has a private voice and piano studio in Somerset and is the Music Coordinator at Sharon Baptist Church in New Brunswick. He performed for three seasons with the NJ Opera Festival where his favorite production was Veridi’s Rigoletto and with Riverside Choral Society of NY. Rydell has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and is pursuing his Master’s Degree at Rutgers University. He would like to thank his family for their support.
