is pleased to be returning to Paper Mill, where he was musical director or supervisor of some eight productions, including Follies, My Fair Lady, Kopit & Yeston’s Phantom, Mikado Inc., and Oklahoma!, among others. Tom was the musical director for three years of Broadway’s Les Miserables at the Imperial. He also spent 31½ years as musical director of Broadway’s Me and My Girl at the Marquis as well as musical supervisor of its National Tour. Tom conducted Sandy Duncan in 5-6-7-8 Dance at Radio City Music Hall, and was musical director of the first National Company of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats (as well as a stint conducting the Broadway company). His Broadway debut as conductor was the 1980 Tony-nominated revival of Brigadoon. Tom has a close association with several leading regional theatres, which, besides Paper Mill, includes four seasons as musical director of Pittsburgh’s Civic Light Opera, as well as its upcoming 1999 season. Tom recently returned from London, where he was musical director of Australian singer Judi Connelli’s sold-out West End engagement.
